Item description:

See scan - good condition. This is a nice and rare late communist / socialist era Polish Republic Rodla medal awarded between 1985 and 1990 to those who made contribution in recovering what was considered ancestral Polish territories from the NAZI Germans : Danzig, areas of Silesia, Pomorze and others. The obverse has swastika motif (Rodla symbol) with Polish Eagle in the center and motto "We Will Not Abandon the Soil of Our Ancestry!" Reverse shows map of Poland and coats of arms of the territories that became part of Poland after 1945. Nice and rare militaria / military collector piece and one of the nice Polish medals.
